I never tried any pills, so there are lots of unanswered questions for me. I would like to know if you ever had any adverse effects and if yes, which ones ? I am a bit afraid, so it would be nice, if you could share your experiences.

The biggest side effect, which is intentional, is loss of appetitie. That is how most of them work, which you probably already know.
Other than that, you have to look around or ask your doctor. Be sure to read the labels. Most of them include tiredness, headache, loss of sleep, and other minor things.
Some prescriptions include major things like kidney failure or worse, but that's only if you take them wrong. You will definately want to talk to a doctor if you need some prescription drug. |

Of course i would speak to the doctor first. I just thought i could get a first impression. I am not sure if i want to risk it. Maybe you think headache is nothing bad, but i am very sceptical concerning adverse effects.

Yea, always speak to a proffesional before you try anything like this, unless its off someone or somewhere you can trust.

Side effects of diet pills vary. You can experience nausea and diarrhea. You should experience this temporarily. But these side effects can be detrimental to your health so better consult your doctor first.

Then again, you may not have any side effects at all. People respond differently to different substances.

There have been a lot of comedy acts about the crazy side effects of pills. Many pills will have a list of 20 possible side effects. The key word here though is "possible". As synthia pointed out, it depends on the individual.

A doctor told me that he never knows whether to discuss side effects with people. He says there is a psychological aspect, and telling people they may feel tired means they will feel tired. He thought that if he didn't say anything, then there was a chance the patient would not experience any side effects at all.
